Responsibilities:
- Oversees the preparation of kitchen equipments for use
- Supervises the storage of kitchen goods
- Supervises the cleaning and storage of kitchen equipments
- Supervises the cleaning of the kitchen premises
- Supervises the disposal of kitchen waste
- Maintains high levels of personal hygiene for self and enforces hygiene standards for team
- Supervises all functions of the Stewarding operations to achieve the optimum departmental costs and quality level of sanitation
- Assists the Stewarding Manager in developing training plans, develops training material in accordance with IHG guidelines and implements training plans for the Stewarding employees
- Assists the Stewarding Manager in setting departmental goals and developing strategies, procedures and policies
- Assists in determining the stocks and controls the par-stocks of all materials and equipments
- Supervises the stock taking of inventories in coordination with employees of the accounting division
- Liaise with employees of the Engineering to schedule preventive maintenance and repairs
- ‘N’ Level with a minimum of 2 years experience in similar position
- Committed, proactive, independent and an enthusiastic team leader
- Able to perform 3 rotating shifts including weekends & public holidays
- Self-motivated with good interpersonal and communication skills
