Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate, Bachelor's/College Degree , Library Management or equivalent.
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Male/Female, 23 - 39 years old.
• Automated tape libraries
• Articulate terms used in specifying offsite / onsite requirements.
• Able to manage tape library operations in data centre independently.
• Located in central area data centre (e.g. dce & dcw) to perform the daily activities related to related to onsite operations.
• Prepare daily pool of tapes for operations used based on defined schedule.
• Perform tape inventories checks based on accounts' requirements or documented schedules.
• Track and account for all media within the tape library and data centre e.g. tape movement logs.
• Perform physical media labeling and inventory update via tape management system.
• Perform / assist in proper tape disposal activities.
• Handle input and output tape media with due care for data integrity.
• Adhere to data centre rules and guidelines established.
